Eara finishes her point with, "How much trouble he's bringing for everyone?" Casey stares at her frowning with a furrowed brow and pinned back ears. He doesn't respond to that though and instead thinks for a minute, his eyes darting around until he decides to ask, "Why did you get rid of me?" This seems to actually take Eara by surprise and she hesitates before saying, "well, you were sick and...I couldn't give the care you needed." She pauses for just a moment, looking away, but she quickly brushes off any regrets with a wave of her hand saying, "Besides, it was already evident your powers would be weak and useless to me. Despite your father's powers." Before Casey can ask about that though she says simply, "It would be
more useful to me to have a healthy human child anyway." This shocks Casey, he stutters, "hu-..." finally realizing the implication of him having a human family if no one knew, he bursts out, "Wait, what happened to the real Casey?!" Eara of course does not seem concerned with his distress though and actually looks kind of annoyed at his outburst.
