JFC Eara... I'm just gonna mention just because of one-page-a-week webcomic time: I feel like its been a REALLY long time of this woman just being super mean to Casey, so I want to say (very minor spoilers) this is the last page for now of her being super mean to Casey! :) ...To make room for someone else to be mean to Casey! (: Just kidding!...or am I?
Annnyway,
Comics of the Week - Week 7: Heavy is the Crown
Whether the leaders of a circus, or a common person in the middle of court intrigue, these comics illustrate how being in charge is never as easy as people think it is. (Song Credits: Daughtry)

Kings of Sorts is a fantasy/sci-fi comic about the struggle to remain kind in an unkind world. It follows Hana, an optimistic village outcast, whose knowledge of magitech puts him at the center of royal court conspiracies! (I love KOS! Any Izzy enjoyers will love Baby, she's so cute. And the emotions in this comic are so good, one thing really distinctive about it besides the amazing traditional art is the way that expressions and gestures are drawn out in detail, each moment of processing emotions is included, like that was something I missed when I stopped doing animation but Jacki shows you can do it in comics.) |

Cirque RoyaleThe royal circus may have its twists and turns but what do these clowns get up to when the show is over? (Another one I read and love! Maybe I'm biased as a clown lover but the world building and exploration of different identities for so many characters is great and the characters are really charming. Also while I really wish I could think of a better way to describe this because saying I love fantastic racism makes me feel like a freak buuut the way oppression is explored with the fantasy clowns and mimes and other types of people is really good!
