Sorry for the late update, this time I was fiddling with the thumbnails way past when I should have, I think the pacing is better for it though, this and the next couple pages were a bit sparse so i squeezed a bit more in. We can breath later. ^_^

Comics of the Week - Week 5: Rocket Man

"It's Lonely Out in Space…" and the universe can make one feel very small. These stories bridge the distance between and give a bit of warmth to the cosmos! (Song Credits: Elton John)

The Space Between is about a conservation agent and the person she is trying to conserve on the galaxy's most difficult road trip. (amazing art and a fun space adventure!)

A Distant Sky is a sky-fi adventure story about six strangers plucked unwillingly from their own worlds in an attempt to save an unfamiliar one locked in war. Poluso needs heroes: they'll have to do. (very interesting characters! If you were ever a fan of late 00's DeviantArt character tournaments I feel like there's a bit of that vibe but more modern in just the right ways, also cohesive and actually going somewhere.)

Comic transcript

"You get to go back 'home', and I will return the child, you just have to be patient." Eara looms over Casey despite being the same height. She shoves the necklace back in his face, "You'll need this." But Casey smacks her hand away, "I don't want it!" Eara gets up in his face and says, "You do though. I've seen you in those people's house, you love that dumb little life." She backs up a little still holding the necklace in a fist. Casey nervously grabs his tail as she taunts him, "And if you show up looking like that it will all be over. The Casey they want doesn't exist." He shakes his head with his eyes squeezed shut but she continues, "Yes. Did you see the way everyone hates the prince now?" Casey looks up at her skeptically, "...No... Not everyone." "And did you see how much trouble he's bringing to the ones who stand by him?"
